Target group: Children

Goal: Share with 3 children or parents to read.

Moral values:

1. Respect

  • We have to learn to respect others, because everyone is equal, do not discriminate or look down on others for any reason, let alone wear colored glasses to see others, or make distinctions.

2. Understanding differences.

  • We need to make our children understand that everyone is a unique individual in this world, and that everyone is born with their own uniqueness, so we need to understand the world and the differences between individuals, and treat everyone with the right perspective and thinking.

3. Love.

  • Children need to understand and learn to fill their hearts with love, to look at anyone or anything with kindness and friendship, and to fully understand and tolerate others.

Chronological Order:

First of all, the first step of this activity was to hold several meetings of our team to discuss the whole process and to determine the parts that each person would be responsible for. Next, we planned the entire process of the activity, listed them all, and then collected and wrote the information according to the plan.

Then, for the digital storytelling activity, all that was needed was to collect and find relevant stories, and then adapt the original stories to the theme (racial discrimination). The next step is to include moral values related to the theme in the story in order to teach the children the right values. For example, in the next digital story, the children will understand and be taught what respect, understanding differences, and love are.

Finally, the digital story is shared with the children or parents so that they can read the story and understand and fulfill the moral values in the story.
